Willy's Story

Willy is the newest member of the East York Veterinary Center family.  He came to EYVC early in May when his owners brought him in for a quality of life examination.

Upon examination it was determined that Willy was in generally good health.  But, he was very obese.  With the permission of the owners, Willy was signed over to East York Veterinary Center so that we could place him on a medically supervised nutrition program.

Willy started his journey at a whopping 30.4 lbs and has already down to 28.9 lbs after just 11 days.  He is getting plenty of exercise and affection from the staff as well a strict diet of food prescribed by the Doctor.  We look forward to the day that Willy is lean, mean, mouse-chasing machine again.  He is very affectionate and gets along well with dogs.
