GOOD SAM PROGRAM

We accept donations to help prepare displaced and homeless animals for new homes.

East York Veterinary Center typically invests several hundred dollars to test, medicate, vaccinate and spay or neuter these animals. Then we house them until a suitable home can found.

We do not accept individual stray animals. We work in conjunction with the York County SPCA. Please direct your found stray animals to the SPCA. You can also call them at 717-225-5532.

THE ANIMAL RESCUE SITE

Ever want to help homeless animals without leaving the comfort of your computer room? Well now you can! Here's a web site with advertisers who will donate money to pay for food for homeless animals every time a visitor to the site simply clicks on the button that says "FEED AN ANIMAL IN NEED." So what are you waiting for? Click here: The Animal Rescue Site, and then click on the button and help feed a homeless animal now!

And by the way, you can click on the button daily... so don't forget to help a homeless animal each and every day!

WILDLIFE CORNER

Funds are applied to the care of wildlife. We provide medical and surgical care for wildlife patients while in the care of Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator. Dedicated and highly trained rehabilitators provide care only with funds from donations.

Before attempting to remove any wild animal from its environment, please call 717-938-4040. Please call this same number if you would like to help with a donation.

We are always accepting the following donations to the hospital:

Old Blankets, Comforters, Sheets and pillows
Bath Towels
